Critical Incident Response Team (CIRT)

About

The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill has a vibrant and diverse population of over 29,000 students. With a population of this size, we recognize there are occasions when our students may be involved in or impacted by an emergency or crisis situation. To address these situations, or critical incidents, Student Affairs and the Office of the Dean of Students coordinates the Critical Incident Response Team (CIRT). This team is made up of experienced professional staff members and can be reached 24 hours a day, year round (including University holidays and closures).
